gallery of grace // portrait session
I was so excited when the leaders of the women’s group, Gallery of Grace, contacted me to photograph a portrait session for them. My friend Chris assisted me on the shoot (he’s also a photographer himself and you can find his work here. =)). Our shoot was centered on Jesus: each of the girls had to write a word to describe their lives before they knew Jesus and one word after knowing Him. I got to capture the beauty and radiance of these girls as they depicted their lives filled with the love of Christ and it was so meaningful & touching. This is what ensued…
Alyssa is a talented makeup artist! She did the makeup for all the girls on the day of the shoot. =)
Paulina. (Oh wait, that’s me!! haha.)
I found the concept for the shoot to be so meaningful and I wanted to contribute! So Chris took these of me…
Intense, I know. But don’t worry, this was taken 30 seconds before ;).
In case you can’t read it, my “after” sign says whole.
I love this behind-the-scenes shot that Chris took of me.
It was such an honor to photograph and get to know each of these wonderful women and I’m so happy that we got to create such a rewarding experience together.
