So… here are more travel photos for you!
This one I snapped…from the passenger seat window. Haha. It’s just so… I don’t even know how to describe it. But it’s different and dreamy and creative, and I like it. There’s a nice bit of negative space in there, too =).
Here’s a photo of the view from our resort room. Notice the sunset glow? Love it!
My mom decided she wanted to take a day-trip to Friday Harbor (a harbor on San Juan Island…off the coast of Anacortes, Washington) so off we went! Being a true socal girl, I couldn’t help but think of Catalina Island while we were there, but the island was nice…cute and quaint…like a lot of what we had seen in Washington up until that point. Below is a photo of the Anacortes Ferry. (Yup! It was one of those ones where you can park your car below the deck and then take stairs to the passenger level. So cool!)
We had company!
On the island, we walked around a bit, and checked out a farmer’s market. Whether it’s experienced from a resort balcony, through a car window, or on an island overlooking miles of ocean…there’s one thing you can’t deny about the view up in Washington: it’s beautiful. After we finished touring Friday Harbor, my mom wanted to continue our journey to Orcas Island nearby. Check back next Thursday for what you can see on Orcas Island!
See you tomorrow for Friday Favorites!
